Sonic Pipe Amplifiers is an electronics business specializing in two areas:

1) We build handwired tube amplifiers for guitar, bass, and harmonica. Our amplifiers are built with meticulous attention to detail, using high-quality components to deliver rich, dynamic tone. While some of amplifiers begin their life in China, they are soon after assembled and tested in-house by our team of experienced technicians, ensuring top-notch quality and reliability. We have over 10 years experience in tube audio design and build. We also build custom amplifiers to specific requirements. 2) We repair and modify Vintage HiFi, Ham Radio, CB radio and Linear Amplifiers. With our teams combined 30+ years of experience in RF and Wireless radio and amplfier design, build and repair we now offer these services to our customers. We have repaired and restored Marantz, Pioneer, Carver, Sanyo and Sony Hifi gear. In the CB radio area, we have repaired hundreds of Cobra, Hy Gain, Palomar and other radios. Ham radios from Kenwood, Yaesu, and Icom to name a few have crossed our test benches. When it comes to RF Linear Amplifiers, we have repaired 2000w Alpha, Ameritron, Dentron, Heathkit, Kenwood, Drake and others. Our Senior RF engineer, Tom, purchased much of the RF test equipment from Motorola when they exited the Cell Phone business, so our equipment is state of the art. We built our first tube RF amp in 1982 and hve built transmitters, receivers, antenna tuners and various amplifiers.
